- Those who have registered as a medical institution or business for enticement of foreign patients under the [Medical Service Act] have the qualification to submit invitation for issuance of medical tourism visa (C-3-3) and is allowed only when the inviting party registered as an enticement institution is applying visa issuance certificate through online (visa.go.kr).
- If treatment and medical care for less than 90 days is required, it is possible to undergo treatment or medical care by having tourism visa and other visitor’s visa, etc. However, it is necessary to change the status of stay if extension of the period of stay is needed.
- Documents necessary to join visa.go.kr are as follows for institutions enticing foreign patients:
- Business registration certificate / Certificate of registration of enticement institution (designation certificate) / Copy of ID (of personnel in charge)
- Copy of ID (of representative director) / Certificate of approval of unit taxation rate for the business operator (if the format of the business site for unit taxation rate is a headquarters or branch office)
- Agreement for institution enticing foreign patients / Certificate of appointment of representative director / Certificate of employment
